omagoodness

tomorrow is the last day of 2010.
this is sad because of one very good reason:
i had, for 2010, the best wall calendar of ever in my life, and after tomorrow, it will be no good.
i'm considering buying a cheap calendar from the dollar store and pasting the pictures from this one overtop of the pastel sunrises and cartoon kitties.
the pictures in this post are from that calendar, in loving memory of it.
{the website is here.}

and now, without anymore further ado,
the year of two thousand and ten, in review

january:
got a niece, made some puns, flew a helicopter in my pajamas, had a friend get engaged. all in all, a good month.

february:
had a happiest valentine's day, saw lois in the hospital, and flew through the air in a car.

march:
ok: began my house obsession, had a painful encounter with fake nails, found christopher walken hiding in my basement, painted the coolest easter eggs of life, experienced a most awkward hug, suffered an online identity crisis the week that lois died, broke six toes, and shared a painful childhood memory. full month. wow.

april: sewed a thing! [this is a big deal], snorted something i shouldn't have [aka the stupidest thing i've ever done], drew my first handflowers, had a magical experience in the mall, examined the pros and cons of africa, got very sick, and got angry.

may: saw the swat team in action, wrote my first paper rant, made something delish, got mad-hatter-mad, got scaredfelt like a clock, and found rotten potato salad in my purse.

june: went to the circus, wrote a poem, caught a cold, saw my heart, got inspired, turned 23, went on an adventure, and feigned pregnancy in an airport.

july: my sweat was stars, barclay went away, i made a new friend, and i survived the apocalypse.

august: i fell in love with sailboats and ohbijou, saw a lady get hit by a truck, did my first ever diy, and went on some stupid medication.

september: made a new blog with hannah, drew lots of stars, saw a jabillion motorbikes, had our first wedding anniversary, made jewelry out of the light fixtures, saw the best tree, had an idea, and touched the sun.

october & november (because i've run out of pictures): celebrated thanksgiving, got a ticket, did my second diy, analysed, wrote more poetry, became taylor swift for a day, got a piano, interviewed david crowder, went to the bahamas,  and made snow angles.

and here we are in december. i've learned to love winter, set up the tree, celebrated Christmas, and done some thinking.

it's been a very nice year.

what'd you do?

I had this artist's calender for 2009.
Definitely my favorite type of photography!
In fact I saw an original print this weekend in Santa Fe. He is brilliant!

But now you get to take out all the pictures, put them in some really nice frames, and display them like the art they are!
