itwalkedonmypillow: DIY feature, coming soon. tomorrow, even.

i've been looking around the blogosphere to see what is hip and cool these days. what do people want more of? what do people subscribe to? what is something that other people do good that i can do good too?
as you've seen previously: i don't have a nice camera, just my samsung cell phone, so i can't do photography. i don't go places, so i can't write a travel blog. and i fear the wrath of the biscuit, so i can't write about cupcakes anymore...[haha, emoticon smile :)]
anyway. i thought of it last night over a good teeth-brushing session with barclay. there is a thing that people do called "DIY PROJECTS" and i think they are fantastic. DIY = Do It Yourownself. basically everyone's running around telling everyone else how to do things. i've been doing that since i learned how to talk. not in a bossy way, just in a good, here-let-me-direct-you-do-it-my-way-or-it's-actually-kind-of-wrong sort of way.
then i remembered that for me to tell you how to do something, i'd have to think of something that i know how to do that you might want to do but don't already know how to do. and it was kind of a complicated circular thought process and i kept getting lost in it.
but i've got it now. and tomorrow, you will be bossed around by itwalkedonmypillow's very own, very first, very special DIY PROJECT. bring your scissors, your game face, and mini eggs. also, you might need a nerf water gun and two cases of pipe cleaners.
just kidding.
but seriously. you. me. tomorrow. here. deal? good. you'll learn.

Good for you. I was going to make a post on my blog about how to sew super-awesome-and-easy-too drapes... but it was hard, so I didn't. Maybe one day.

Suzy I thought of you yesterday (this has nothing to do with your post). Remember you wrote about checking 3 times if you locked the front door when you go to sleep?

I just thought... what if there's a fire? in your house?
wouldn't it be much easier to get out if the door isn't locked?

Sorry... twisted thinking.

Anyway, I'll be here tomorrow :)

DIY project?? Exciting! Sounds like a challenge. Looking forward to it :D

And Re. pinhole cameras- yes, seeing that exhibition made me want to make one too. The problem is rigging up a darkroom though.
