babies have 300 bones because some of the bones aren't fused. Such as the skull and the humerus. As babies grow their bones fuse together, resulting in 206.
I'm so glad that I get to be the one to tell you about the bones! See, a baby has a lot of little bones, which is important for some reason that I don't remember at the moment, and then as they age, those bones fuse together. ex: their skull. It's three parts I think when they're born so it can compact to fit through the canal and then they fuse together and their soft spot disappears. Cool, huh!
ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
dang, i'm really glad to know that. i was considering it a lot today.
thanks guys.
To expand on Jen's explanation, they need lots of little bones so that the baby can be smushed together to fit through the birth canal. Thank goodness God thought that one through.
Also, I would pick... Ukrainian or Swedish.
Um, I speak Dutch, English and Danish but I would love to speak French and Spanish! Ow and Latin would be pretty cool to.
Love, love, love you wedding cake and the idea behind it!!
