this was awesome! i remember learning most of this stuff, too, and i definitely had the same reaction... i never fully appreciated what i had learned until years later. but i feel like that's the way everything works in life, not just in school.

gale, jen wilson, ching, lisa, ashlee, irs, emmy, amber rose, michelle, bebe bird beck, laree: :D thank you for the kind words. i'm flattered than a pancake.

shlee: good to have lunch with you today! i've missed you. :)

amyschmamey: hahaha, well you are awesome right back to me!

stefany: well thank you AND: here is a sad thing: your blog won't let me leave comments! what the heck. :(

jen g-son: haha, you WOULD think that. :D you're hilarious.

steven cain: i could never ever be a teacher.

biscuit: ooh. that's another good one. i could do a whole 'nother paper rant about that.

Simply beautiful. I too completely regret thinking science was boring in school. B/c now I often wonder things like, "Why IS the sky blue?" or "How does....work?" and then I think, "Oh man! I probably learned that in elementary school! Why didn't I pay attention!?" Ever think we should actually all be doing elementary school when we're adults?

jen: i think i'd absolutely like to retake some of my elementary school classes now. we should go back together. i'd need to buy a new backpack.
